LAWMA MD, climate experts, others to storm Eko Carbon Exchange Dialogue

Eko Carbon Exchange (ECX), a platform for education and awareness on environmental emissions, as well as carbon pricing and climate token-based emission trading, has announced its readiness to hold a Breakfast Dialogue.
This was revealed in a statement made available to newsmen by its Director, Innocent Azih.
According to the statement, the Dialogue is expected to hold at the Eko Innovation Center, 50 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos state by 9.00 am.
Speaking on the aim of the Dialogue, Mr Azih revealed to newsmen that the aim is to drive public and interest-holder participation deeper into solution provision.
“We have created the platform to educate socioeconomic actors and stakeholders incentive the general public on how managing solid wastes under a pricing and climate token incentive framework.”
He added that the Managing Director of Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin, will be the key speaker at the event.
Others expected to grace the event include waste and environment management agencies and enterprises, waste recyclers, volunteers and renewable resource and development professionals, financial actors and other economic actors, among others.
