For lasting solution to LAUTECH crisis

Published by

Both the Oyo and Osun State governments should put an end to the perennial closure of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State. The university was established by the military government of old Oyo State during the late Colonel Sasaeniyan’s Oresanya’s. Since the creation of Osun State out of the old Oyo State, both states had been running the university successfully.

Recently, however, some constraints have emerged which are inimical to the progress of the university. Since Osun State has established its own state university, Oyo should be allowed to solely own and control the university.
