The management of LAPO Microfinance Bank has reiterated the bank’s commitment in widening the banking net to include the un-banked and the underserved, in the country as the microfinance bank held the third edition of its ‘Xpress Savings Season 3 Raffle Draw’, in Lagos.
The event, held over the weekend, demonstrated the financial institution’s commitment to fostering financial inclusion and sustainable growth.
Expressing the bank’s gratitude to its customers, partners and staff for their support, over the years, its Managing Director, Mrs. Cynthia Ikponmwosa, described the Xpress Saving initiative as a testament to LAPO’s dedication to empowering individuals and businesses by promoting a culture of savings.
“Today, we celebrate not just the success of our Xpress Savings initiative, but the incredible show of customer loyalty that has made this journey a memorable one,” she said.
She added that the initiative was one of the microfinance banks’ numerous strategies at making banking accessible and rewarding.
Besides, the LAPO MFB boss believed that the initiative would also encourage customers to develop savings habits, thereby creating financial stability and security for the future.
Reflecting on the impact of the third edition of the campaign, Mrs Ikponmwosa emphasised the strong relationship between LAPO and its customers, stating that their loyalty fuels the bank’s drive to expand and innovate.
She also assured of the bank’s readiness to continue to support the lucky winners, which she described as ‘representing the future of financial inclusion’, in their financial growth.
