A landlord has been accused of allegedly stabbing his tenant to death over proper disposal of water.
Gbade (surname withheld) was remanded in prison after he was arraigned before an Ebute Metta Magistrate Court.
It was gathered that Gbade committed the offence on July 21 at No. 10, Apollo Street, Makoko.
The accused and the deceased, Bright Chineme, had an argument over where the deceased’s wife should dispose off her used water in the compound.
In the course of the argument, Gbade allegedly picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed the deceased to death, a prosecutor told the court.
The case has been adjourned to October 25.
