In a brazen and deadly attack, terrorists belonging to the Lakurawa group have killed three staff members of a leading telecommunications firm in Kebbi.
The incident occurred at a construction site in Gumki village, Arewa Local Government Area, where the victims were installing a surveillance mast for the Nigeria Immigration Service.
According to eyewitnesses, the insurgents invaded the site, killing the three telecoms officials and one other person whose identity has not been confirmed.
This latest attack comes barely a week after the same terrorist group killed two police officers in the state, sparking widespread concern about the escalating insecurity in the region.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with many calling for increased security measures to protect lives and property.
