Lagos power fest set to clarify challenges facing Nigeria’s power sector

Regarded as the foremost gathering of exceptional minds, business leaders and decision-makers in the energy sector, Lagos Power Fest is set to hold 26th march, at the civic centre Victoria Island Lagos.

Towards clarifying the many shared challenges facing Nigeria’s power sector from the GenCos, DisCos to the transmission, handled by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), the Lagos power fest is bringing the most knowledgeable and influential stakeholders in public and private to analyse this issues.

The organisers, had when introducing the programme said it is aimed at providing a global platform to debate and propel action from the private and public sectors towards building Nigeria’s power sector. The one-day strategic conference and exhibition programme also seeks to create an opportunity for energy solution providers to showcase their new technologies to the world.

Furthermore, the programme aims at educating the public, investors, and curious minds on how the power and energy sector is evolving with the rise of digitalization alongside business opportunities within the power sector.

Slated to debate at the event are federal and state government officials relevant to the power sector, power and energy experts, oil and gas key players, grid operators, international development partners, etc.

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission chairman, Prof. James Momoh, CEO Transmission Company of Nigeria, Usman Gur Mohamed, and Eko Electricity Distribution Company Managing Director Mr Adeoye Fadeyibi are among the Keynote speakers expected at the event.
