Lagos govt arrests six for urinating on rail track

In a crackdown on public indecency, the Lagos State government has arrested six persons for openly urinating on the rail track in front of the Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Oshodi.

This was made known in a statement shared by the Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on X(formerly Twitter) on Saturday.

He wrote, “6 defaulters were earlier today arrested for open urination on rail track in front of Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi.”

The arrests were made as part of the Lagos State Government’s ongoing efforts to enforce a cleaner and more sanitary environment, under the #ZeroToleranceLagos and #CleanerLagos initiatives.
