Lagos CAN re-elects Bamgbola, Akinadewo, others

The Lagos State chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), on Thursday, re-elected its chairman and secretary, Apostle Alexander Bamgbola and Baba Aladura, Elder Dr Israel Akinadewo, respectively for another three years.

The General Assembly of the body also returned the vice chairman, Reverend (Dr) Emmanuel Oguntosin; assistant secretary, Reverend Father Matthew Ogunyase and the treasurer, Bishop Stephen Adegbite.

It said the achievements and delivery of the current leadership to the Christian community in Lagos qualified it for a second term in office.

The affirmative election, which held at the Hoarse Memorial Methodist Cathedral, Sabo, was supervised by the national secretary of CAN, Reverend (Dr) Musa Asake.
