Lagos Aviation Academy (LAA) has celebrated its seventh anniversary, which coincided with the unveiling of its new state-of-the-art training facility.
The grand opening of the academy’s new building was well attended by stakeholders across the sector and marked a significant milestone in its journey, reflecting its continuous growth and dedication to providing top-notch training.
LAA has solidified its reputation as a premier institution for aviation education in Nigeria and beyond in the past seven years with its ability to produce IATA Best Performer in Nigeria for four years of 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022, respectively.
Speaking to journalists at the new facility in Ikeja, Lagos, Head of School at Lagos Aviation Academy, Bolaji Durojaiye, remarked: “LAA’s new facility is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering quality education. Equipped with the latest technology and modern amenities, the building is designed to provide an optimal learning environment for our students.
“Our experienced faculty, comprising industry veterans and experts, ensures that students receive comprehensive training that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The academy’s curriculum is meticulously crafted to cover many aspects of aviation, preparing students for successful careers in various aviation fields.”
Launching the new facility, the academy, while reflecting on its journey and achievements over the years, recalled how it has grown into a beacon of aviation education, setting standards and leading the way in training excellence.
The success of the academy, according to the management, is “built on a foundation of innovation, quality and a deep passion for aviation. The management is proud of the school’s alumni who are making significant contributions to the aviation industry worldwide.”
LAA reiterated its dedication to providing world-class aviation training programmes as it has as its mission determination to develop skilled aviation professionals through rigorous training, state-of-the-art facilities and a comprehensive curriculum.”
