Ascending the throne on April 27, 2010, Oba Elegushi’s reign has been characterised by progressive leadership and a deep dedication to the prosperity of his people.
In celebration of this significant milestone, the Oba Saheed Elegushi Foundation has announced a generous allocation of N200 million to support small and medium-sized enterprises and students within the Eti-Osa area of Lagos State.
This initiative aims to provide financial assistance and resources to local entrepreneurs and students, thereby stimulating economic growth and enhancing educational opportunities.
In his reign, Oba Elegushi has consistently demonstrated a commitment to education and community development. Notably, he built and donated a multipurpose, fully-equipped Lagos History Research Centre at the Lagos State University (LASU), his alma mater.
This centre serves as a hub for researching the sociocultural, economic, and political development of Lagos State, reflecting the monarch’s dedication to preserving and promoting the state’s rich history.
