Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, led by Chairman, High Chief Dr Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, has expressed condolences over the tragic passing of Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff.

The message, made available to journalists on Friday, extended sympathy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian military, and the family of the late General.

In his statement, Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, recognised the significant contributions made by Lt. General Lagbaja towards national security.

He acknowledged the General’s steadfast support in ensuring the protection of vital oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta region.

This contribution, he noted, is highly regarded among industry players and other stakeholders in Nigeria’s energy sector.

Tompolo described the General’s passing as a deep loss to the nation and, particularly, to those who have worked closely with him in safeguarding national assets.

He praised Lagbaja’s commitment to security and protection against external threats, a dedication that served as an inspiration to the Nigerian Army and beyond.

The condolence message also prayed for strength and resilience for President Tinubu, the Nigerian military, and the family of the late General.

Tompolo’s words highlighted the shared grief of all who had witnessed Lagbaja’s leadership and service to the country.

The statement concluded with an affirmation of respect and remembrance for Lt. General Lagbaja, whose legacy in Nigeria’s military and security sectors will be cherished.
