As residents of Ibadan look forward to Easter Sunday celebration, Gbenga Adeyinka, the creator of music and comedy show, Laffmatazz, has assured them of fun-filled moments. He plans to unleash music acts and rib-cracking comedians at this year’s edition of the show.

The show, in its 8th season, has become a popular comedy brand that does not only entertain the people but one that also creates enabling platforms for young talented acts to express themselves and sell their products to the world.

At the PERA awards last year, the Laffmatazz brand confirmed its dominance as a leading entertainment brand, when it clinched the Comedy Event of The Year, a development that pushed the brand to new enviable heights in the South West.

Revealing names of artistes that will thrill  at what at he described as the Osha pra pra edition this year at a press conference, Adeyinka said that though the day fell on April fool’s day, the people should get ready for not just jokes, adding that he was ready to unleash the mother of all comedy shows in Ibadan.

“This year, we are bringing the Osha pra pra edition and mother of all comedy shows in the city of Ibadan. We have never failed in delivering quality entertainment gig to the people and we won’t fail them this time,” he said.

He also confirmed that the show would witness music performances from mega music stars such as Small Doctor, Oshosondi, Oritsefemi, CDQ, King Bobby, Keanzo just as comedy heavyweights like Yaw, Helen Paul, Nedu Wazobia, Emma oh my God, Omobaba, Peteru among others will be performing.

“We have shown remarkable progress over the years and this could not have been possible if the people of Ibadan have not been supportive of our brand. They have shown us that they value entertainment and we always strive hard to give them the best. This year, we are unleashing the best hands in music and comedy,” he stated.
