Ladoja, guiding light for young, old politicians – Oyo Speaker

Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin has described Senator Rashidi Ladoja as a guiding light for both old and young politicians.

Ogundoyin, in a congratulatory statement, said the dedication of Oba Rashidi Ladoja to the development of the State as a former governor was remarkable and laudable.

He said as a phenomenal and selfless leader, Oba Rashidi Ladoja has left his indelible footprints on the sands of the state.

The Speaker said Oba Rashidi Ladoja has continued to demonstrate unique qualities and characteristics which make him a distinguished elder statesman.

Ogundoyin said: “As younger politicians, we have to learn from Oba Rashidi Ladoja’s leadership excellence and tireless efforts in living a lasting impact in the state.

“I join thousands of well-meaning Nigerians to celebrate one of my father figures in Oyo State, Oba Senator Rashidi Ladoja on the occasion of Papa’s 80th birthday anniversary.

“Joining the group of octogenarians is really a celestial favour and an uncommon privilege. May God continue to strengthen Oba Rashidi Ladoja, and preserve his life in good health so that we can continue to benefit from his immense experiences which cut across all spheres of human endeavours.”
