YOUTHS in Kwara state have concluded plans to organize a mass rally in Ilorin with the aim of calling on the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, to salvage the nation from its current political, social and economic challenges.

Speaking with journalists in Ilorin on Thursday, the convener of the youth forum, Mr Abdul-Mojeed Olanrewaju Oba, said that the mass rally was also to show level of acceptance enjoyed by Saraki in his home state.

Oba, who said that about one million youth would take part in the rally, added that it would help to sensitize the people of the state and seek their support towards Saraki’s presidential aspiration.

The convener, who said that the rally would take place on Saturday, September 15, in the Ilorin metropolis, highlighted some achievements of Saraki in the state in the area of power generation and electricity, primary health care, agriculture and farming, infrastructure development, polio immunization among others.
