The House, which mentioned some of the indicted hotels in the state capital, also invited the state ministry of Commerce and Harmony Holdings.
The summon was sequel to a motion under Matter of Urgent Public Importance raised by the House Leader, Hon Hassan Oyeleke, that a number of hotels in the state capital run strippers clubs, contrary to the moral values of the people of the state.
Oyeleke said that no religion or civilization supports nudity in any society, hence, a state like Kwara, which is known as a religious state, should not allow the existence of strippers clubs in the state
Other members who contributed to the motion, said the future was bleak with the recent happenings in the society, pointing out that there was the need to regulate activities of the hotels in the state, so that the menace could be nipped in the bud.
They called on the religious leaders and other opinion moulder, to rise up to the challenge by condemning the act.
Reading the resolution of the House, the Deputy Speaker Matthew Okedare, who presided at the plenary, directed the management of Kwara Hotels, Harmony Holdings and others to appear on the floor of the House next Tuesday, to explain why such activity is promoted in their hotels.
Similarly, the House summoned the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to appear before the House Committee on Health and Environment, to allay the fear of the public on the environmental degradation and ongoing deforestation in the State.
Hon, Felicia Ebun Owolabi, who moved the motion noted that indiscriminate felling of trees without appropriate planting of new ones posed serious danger to man and the environment.
Others who contributed to the motion, including, Hon Ramat Segilola Abdulkadri, Adamu Usman and Ahmed Ibn Muhammed attributed the incidents to the activities of producers of charcoal.
The Deputy Speaker, Hon Mathew Okedare, while reading the resolutions, called on the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and other relevant government agencies to look into the issue of environmental degradation with the view of curbing activities that could lead to deforestation.
The House then called on the State Government to enforce all existing extant laws on environmental degradation, while appropriate measures should be meted on violators.
The House also urged the state government to fund the Ministry of Environment to plant new trees and sensitisation of the public on tree planting.
