Kwara governor removes heads of state-owned media

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara state has approved the removal of all heads of all state-owned media houses.

They are the General Manager of Radio Kwara, the Kwara State Television Service, and the Herald Newspapers.

This is contained in a statement signed by the state Commissioner for Communications, Alhaji Muritala Olanrewaju, on Wednesday.

The governor, while thanking the former general managers, directed that the most senior officers in the three media houses should take over, pending appointment of substantive chief executive officers of the media houses.
