Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has said that his administration will not run a vindictive administration, despite taking over from opposition political party in the state.
Speaking at a programme organised by the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in the last general elections, Comrade Issa Aremu to mark 10th Nelson Mandela Day, themed, “Action Against Poverty” in Ilorin on Thursday, the governor assured that his administration would do all that is humanly possible to remove the state out of poverty.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works and Transport, Alhaji Garba Yusuf Manjo, the governor said that all sectors would be reviewed to enable the state government to reposition them for better performance.

Abdulrazaq urged the workers in the state to redouble their effort in the discharge of their duties, assuring them that his administration would not sack any worker in the state.
Abdulrazaq also assured the determination of his administration towards making life better for the residents.
Also speaking, the convener of the event, Comrade Issa Aremu, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to without further delay form an all-inclusive cabinet that will embrace youths, women and technocrats among others in order to move Nigeria forward.
He said that the delay in the release of the new cabinet by the President has created fears among the citizenry, saying that Nigerians are expecting new cabinet members that would support him in driving the nation to economic prosperity.
Aremu also advised former President Olusegun Obasanjo to continue to be a statesman rather being partisan on national issues affecting the corporate existence of Nigeria.
