During the training, the Deputy Director of Budget at the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Mr Matthew Ajayi, took committee members through the processes of preparing a sound nutrition budget and outlined steps to ensure timely fund release for programme execution.

Ajayi also advised SCFN members to work closely with designated Planning Officers in their ministries to avoid errors during programme implementation.
