Kwara gets new SA Christianity

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara state has appointed Reverend Timothy Oluwagbemiga Akangbe as the new Special Assistant on Religious Affairs (Christianity).

Akangbe replaces Reverend Dr. S. O. Adedayo, who passed on recently.

The new official, a native of Apado in Ilorin East, holds a Bachelor Degree in Religious Studies and and Masters Degree in Christian Studies from the University of Ibadan and University of Ilorin, respectively.

A prominent member of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the appointee has served as a clergyman and teacher at various levels.
