Kwara community hails gov over Owu water fall road project

The people of the Owa-Onire community in the Ile-Ire district of the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State have expressed their appreciation to the state government for the development projects being carried out across the state, particularly those affecting communities in the Ile-Ire district, especially the construction of the Oowu Waterfalls Road project.

In a statement released by the community and signed by the Chairman of the Owa-Onire Central Planning Committee, Mallam Saka Ogunbiyi, the residents stated that the various development projects initiated by the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq-led administration have the potential to improve the socioeconomic lives of the people and elevate the state to greater heights.

“It is our fervent belief and prayer that these monumental projects across the state will further encourage Your Excellency’s strong desire to pilot the ship of the state to the enviable harbor for which we have, over the years, yearned,” the statement read.

Additionally, the people of Owa-Onire congratulated Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on the successful conduct of the recent Local Government Elections in the state.

They noted that the victory at the LGA polls is a clear demonstration of the people’s appreciation for the current administration’s love and quality leadership style in the state.

Similarly, the Onire of Owa-Onire, Oba Ramonu Lawal Ifabiyi III, and the entire Owa-Onire community extended their congratulations to Governor Abdulrazaq on being conferred the traditional title of Sadauna Ngeri of Ilorin by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Zuluqanaini Gambari (OON).

The community stated that this prestigious title is a reflection of the governor’s love, integrity, dedication, and commitment to the progress of the Ilorin community and Kwara State in general.

“Your Excellency’s leadership style and selfless service have earned you this well-deserved and respectable traditional title, which is indeed capable of further promoting unity and trust not only in the Ilorin community but also throughout Kwara State.”
