Speaking during the commencement of the exercise in Ilorin on Wednesday, a caretaker committee chairman of the party, Bashir Bolarinwa, charged ward chairmen of the party to carry every willing member along in their respective areas, saying that they should be watchful against registering fake members and impostors.
Bolarinwa, who said that APC is the party that residents of the state were looking up to for better development, urged party leaders not to hoard the registration form from intending members or discriminate.
He also said that despite the defection of people elected under the platform of APC to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the party would win the general election in the state.
“Our mission here today is to distribute registration materials for the continuous registration of members. As we are aware, we now have in place new structures at all levels.

“Because all politics is local our committee decided to invite ward executives to come and collect the forms for registration of members.
“I want to implore you to carry out the exercise diligently so that everybody desirous to be member is not left out.
“APC is the party that Kwarans are looking up today. 2015 Kwarans voted for APC because they have the interest of the party at heart. Those that we gave our mandate to have run away with it to another party. Despite that, the people have resolved to vote for APC in 2019,” he said.
He also urged the chairmen to carry out the exercise with honesty and transparency.
“We don’t expect you to hoard the forms, nor discriminate against anybody. I urge you to watch out for impostors in our midst,” he said.
