The walk, held on April 14, 2018, took off from St. Theresa’s School, Oke-Ado, was taken through the streets of Ibadan, as members carried placards which bore messages such as: Protect Life, Babies Have a Right to Life Too!, Stop Abortion, Defend Life, Say No to Abortion, among others.
Members of the KSM took their pro-life messages to churches, mosques, relaxation spots, salons, motor parks, among other places.
Political party faithful were also not left out of the mix, as the KSM took the opportunity of an ongoing rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to preach the message of the gospel.
In his address after the rally, the chairman of the Diamond Jubilee committee, Mr Titus Oduah, thanked the members for their support and called for more efforts to make the event, which will be rounded off on June 30, when the KSM will clock 60, a success.
According to him, the organisation will also hold visitation to the motherless and the underprivileged; a quiz competition, a lecture, as well as an investiture ceremony.
Also speaking at the event, on behalf of the Grand Knights in Ibadan, Sir Fidelis Femi Fapohunda, thanked the committee for its efforts, aimed at ensuring the success of the rally.
