Police in Kogi State has arrested some gunmen alleged to have prevented some of the electorate from casting their votes during Saturday’s supplementary election in Kogi West Senatorial District in the state.
Tribune Online gathered that the team leader of the gunmen Mike Olojo was alleged to be working for one of the leaders of the Kogi State House of Assembly.
Tribune Online reports that AK 47 and ammunition found in their possession have been retrieved by the police.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) cancelled the voting exercise in some of the polling units in the district last Saturday.
