Speaking on the motion brought by the member representing Yagba west state constituency, Oluwatoyin Lawal, the speaker said the abducted were said to have dressed in army and police uniforms during the operation.
Kolawole expressed worries over the return of kidnapping to the state also drew the attention of the state government and security agencies to the crime.
The speaker however charged security agencies in the state to quickly swing into action and ensure that the victims are rescued from the ‘kidnappers’ den.
He urged the state government to further equip the police and other security agencies with more high technology gadgets that would assist in reducing criminal activities in the state.
While moving the motion, Oluwatoyin raised the alarm over the sudden return of kidnapping in Kabba axis of the state.
The lawmaker also advocated reinforcement of the operations of security agencies in the area to further ensure the security of lives along the highway.
Members in their contributions urged the security agencies, particularly the police to brace up in ensuring the security of lives and properties in the state.
The house also urged the commissioner of police to deploy more policeman to flashpoints areas in the state.
Attempts to confirm the report from the police were not as successful as the mobile telephone lines of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) were switched off.
