Kogi: Police arrest FUL student for kidnapping, killing female colleague

The Kogi State Police Command has arrested a 100-level student of Federal University Lokoja for allegedly kidnapping and killing a female student named Damilola.

It was reported that after killing her, the suspect, identified as Jeremiah, allegedly removed her private parts.

According to sources, Jeremiah kidnapped Damilola and demanded a ransom from her parents.

Upon receiving the information, Kogi State Police operatives arrested him in connection with Damilola’s tragic death.

Reports indicate that the suspect, who hails from Kaduna State, allegedly abducted her and took her to an uncompleted building. After receiving a ransom of N400,000 from her family, he killed her and removed her vital organs for ritual purposes.

Following the murder, the suspect reportedly contacted her family again, demanding an additional N10 million. However, he was tracked down and arrested by the police.

The suspect confessed to acting alone and led authorities to the location where he had left her remains. He stated that he killed her because she had seen his face after the abduction.
