Kogi guber: Ex-Speaker endorses APC’s Ododo as quality candidate

Published by

Ahead of the November 11 Kogi Governorship election, the immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole, disclosed that the All Progressive Congress (APC) is presenting a quality candidate in the person of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.

Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday, Prince Kolawole said the party candidate has all it takes to govern the state.

He added that with the experience he has gathered as a former civil servant and also as the local government auditor general, there is no doubt that he will bring more development to the state if elected as the next governor of the state.

His words: I am 100 per cent with Ododo, and the party is working round the clock to make sure that we deliver him come November 11 Governorship election.

He is the candidate to beat; I don’t think any other candidate can beat him in the coming election

“The people of Kabba-Bunu are solidly behind our candidate, and everybody will put their hands together to make sure that he wins the election.

I equally commend our amiable governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for his fatherly role in the state. He has given us the best and by the grace of God, we will not disappoint him

“Ododo will surely do more for the state since the government is a continuous thing, and by that, he will continue with the newly established Kogi State University Kabba.

The institution will definitely bring more development to Kogi West and also encourage our children to study more as the era of travelling beyond the state for University admission will be over, He said.

He, therefore, urged the people of the state to rally around the candidature of Ododo for the coming governorship election in the state and also urged them to avoid anything negative that could affect the election before, during, and after.
