Klappa resigns as Addax Petroleum MD, Chen takes over

ADDAX Petroleum Development Nigeria Ltd., a Chinese oil firm, on Wednesday, announced the resignation of its Senior Vice President/ Managing Director, Mr Colin Klappa.

Mrs Dorothy Atake, Addax’s General Manager (External and Government Affairs), made the disclosure in a statement in Lagos.

Atake said that Mr Yonghong Chen, the company’s Deputy Managing Director (Operations), would be the Acting Managing Director with effect from June 18.

She said that Klappa resigned to pursue other interests.
