Kings, gospel ministers, others ‘shake heaven’ at 18th Kings’ Day of Praise

Published by

The annual Kings’ Day of Praise recorded another success recently as the just held 18th edition of the praise programme which brought together royal fathers, gospel ministers and worshippers at an exclusive worship session held at the Bishop’s Court, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Music legend, who is also the chairman of the programme, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi led other gospel ministers, including Evangelists Funmi Aragbaye, Bukola Akinade, Akin Jiboku, Ayan Jesu, Bidemi Olaoba, Hannah Sokunbi, Divine Sisters and Praise 99.

The convener of the programme, the Osile Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, expressed his delight on the success of this year’s programme, while lamenting that the last edition hindered physical gathering as a result of the pandemic.

He added that, “We are not ignorant of the fact that it has been God, our help in ages past, who has kept the vision of the annual Kings’ Day of Praise running. This 18th edition of royal gathering is an indication that God loves all of us that are alive today. Even in the global imbroglio surrounding us and the tight economy we have been subjected to, God remains faithful.

“It is important for all kings, queens, princes, princesses, chiefs and clerics to praise and appreciate the creator of the universe, who is our ultimate king, the King of kings, for His love so tender, care so sweet, His protection so alluring and much more over us.”

Also speaking at the programme, Ebenezer Obey said Nigerians and all around the world have every reason to thank God despite all that is happening around us, adding, “It is by His mercy that we have not been consumed. From Boko Haram and Niger Delta insurgencies, COVID-19, kidnapping, banditry to national economic recession, yet we are still alive, hale and hearty.”
