King OC: The reason I floated my own record label

Chief Executive Officer of Huddersfield Group and King OC Music, Bright Stephen Asemota has revealed the reason he established his own record label.

In a recent interview, the entertainment big shot in his own words said: “Well my label was founded a few months ago. I made this decision because I intend to showcase Nigeria music to the rest of the world.”

King OC Music was founded a few months ago by King OC. He however hinted that his record label will soon unveil some of its artistes soon.

Speaking on artistes who terminate contracts with labels after hitting the limelight, King OC said “it is a very wrong thing to do. And it’s an act of wickedness.

“I must say this. Any upcoming artiste that has done this or planning to act in such wickedness will be committing career suicide.”

King OC is a graduate of UNIBEN and lost his father at an early age. He doubles as a singer, actor and entrepreneur.

On how he combines all his careers, the 33-year-old versatile act said: “Well entertainment aspect is what I have passion for. I don’t see it as a hard job for me.”
