Ubale made the call in Bauchi on Monday during a Christmas service.
”Emulate the teaching and practice of Jesus Christ and be kind to people irrespective of religious belief” he said.
He said Christmas season was not just for shopping and decoration, parties and gift sharing but for peace, joy and love.
The preacher, who read his text from the gospel of Saints Mathew and Luke, said the birth of Jesus gave hope for the hopeless.
He said Christmas was a time for celebrating triumph of light over darkness.
He further stressed the need to intensify prayer for peace in every part of the country.
He also urged government to maintain the safety of all citizens in the country.
