Kesandu, Dumebi develop EPP app to create employment, visibility for MSMEs

Published by

Family Colors in partnership with two sisters, Kesandu and Dumebi has developed a app “EPP app”, to create employment for Nigerians and visibility for millions of Micro-Small-Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.

The app is to help Nigerians comes up with their own MSMEs, either providing services or products, and have a platform available to them to display them. It also provides already established MSMEs the ready platform to make them known for improved business.

According to the Director Strategy Epp App, Ernest Nwokolo, the app stands out as a vehicle to facilitate the growth of MSMEs in Nigeria; and will help those millions of Nigerian youths who are doing nothing to start their little business by providing visibility for them; thus help to providing employments and sustains jobs of those already in employment.

“The Epp app is an innovation being introduced to give rising entrepreneurs a hand, to be a stepping stone that improves their visibility and profoundly showcase these skills, services and products to the world. The world is moving towards app usage and the EPP app promises to be an innovative digital market-place where buyers (termed LOOKERS) and sellers (termed EPPERS) meet regularly to exchange goods, skills, information and services.”

Speaking with the media at the weekend in Abuja, the app developers, Kesandu and Dumebi Nwokolo; said: “The Nigerian consumer is selective and decisive. They know what they want and are not afraid to demand it. The Epp application is here to soothe their refined tastes by connecting them with quality and local professionals, products and services that will meet their needs. Consumers and service providers, we are here to bridge the gap.”

Kesandu added: “Our vision is to help entrepreneurs, businesses, service providers, youthful but skill-filled impresarios all over the country, find new customers and grow their businesses. You have a skill and you are great at what you do. It’s time to show people what you are made of and grow your business one excellent review at a time.”

Kesandu said Explained that the poor visibility has run the ship of many MSMEs aground in Nigeria, eroding their customer base and causing lack of profitability of their ventures; adding that most of them, due to their financial base are not able to set aside funds for adverts or promotion of their skills and products.

“They labour under obscurity and lack of visibility until they crash out of the enterprise and re-enter the ever-engorged labor market. It is a vicious cycle which continues to play out”

Kesandu and Dumebi Nwokolo are sisters who have been blazing the trail in developing applications useful both in the medical and business world.

“All business owners in Nigeria within the range of micro-small-medium enterprises are invited to register and pitch their capabilities. Once inside the EPP app, it becomes accessible to millions who are expected to download and use the app to locate the services and products they need.”

To leverage the app, Dumebi explained that customers only needs to create sa ‘looker’ account, search or browse for the services he needs and Epp would find them for for free.”
