Kendrick Lamar to headline 2025 Super Bowl Halftime show

Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar has been announced as the headliner for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans.

The artist confirmed the news on Sunday, expressing his enthusiasm for representing rap music on one of the world’s biggest stages.

“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why,” Lamar stated on social media. “They got the right one.”

The Super Bowl, set to take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9, is one of the most-watched annual events in the United States, with the halftime show often seen as a cultural highlight.

Lamar will follow in the footsteps of a long list of legendary performers, including Prince, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, U2, Michael Jackson, and Beyonce, all of whom have taken the stage at previous Super Bowls.

While Lamar previously performed at the 2022 Super Bowl alongside hip-hop icons Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, and 50 Cent in Los Angeles, next year will mark his first solo headline appearance at the event.

The show will be produced in collaboration with Roc Nation and Apple Music, promising another unforgettable Super Bowl performance.
