Canada-based Nigerian singer, Kelly Anthony, who started 2019 on a good note with the release of his new song, entitled: “Eko”, has promised donate the proceeds of the new work to put smile on the faces on the underprivileged in the society, as well as to youths through his foundation, Kelly Anthony Foundation (KAF).
According to Kelly, the song dwells more on the struggle of those who are in the city of Lagos, working hard every day and night for survival and efforts in pursing their dreams.
“The struggles and hardship I went through in accomplishing my goals and making my dream true came to reality inspired me on penning this song,” he stated.
Speaking further on his plans to carve a niche for himself in the industry, Kelly stated that his plan for 2019 is to take over the spotlight of the music scene with so many collaborations from Nigerian top artistes in the pipeline.
“I want to make my name bold in the industry and create a solid foundation fan base in the music industry in Nigeria and across Africa, that’s the plan. I also want to tour Nigerian tertiary campuses, media houses and clubs which will enable me to get more familiar with my fans and connect with them. The song, EKO, will let me do more activities in Nigeria this year,” Anthony said.
