Kebbi Assembly suspends member for alleged unguarded utterances

Kebbi State House of Assembly has suspended Hon. Hassana Umar Representing Kebbi North Constituency in the State House of Assembly.

In a statement signed by the Clerk to the House, Hon. Suleiman Shamaki, and made available to journalists Monday stated that the Hon. House at its executive session last weekend unanimously suspended Hon Hassan Umar for his unguarded utterances against the House.

The statement further accused Hon. Umar of instigating some members of the House of Assembly against leadership of the House, causing disharmony between the executive and the legislature.
