The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) team of the Kano State Police Command, in conjunction with members Miyyeti Allah, in their collective efforts to rid of the state of an act of criminality, have arrested three notorious cattle rustlers recovered 1000 cattle in an operation at Falgore Forest.
Disclosing this on Friday, the Kano State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, who spoke to reporters at Kwanar Dangora, Kiru Local Government Area of Kano, said the operation lasted for seven days at the forest where the suspects held sway in armed robbery and kidnapping.
According to him, the three notorious cattle rustlers include Sa’idu Abdullahi AKA Goda 23 years old of Soba LGA, Kaduna State Lawan Mohd AKA Boda 25 years old of Damau Village; Kubau LGA. Kaduna.Suleman Abdullahi AKA Bros, 30 years old of Damau Village Kubau LGA, Kaduna State
He said the items recovered from them include two AK47 rifles with 110 rounds of live ammunition, three pump action rifles with 22 live cartridges, two military camouflage uniforms as well as four mobile handsets.

.The CP also disclosed that in the course of the operations, five firearms and large quantity ammunition were recovered from them.
His words: “More than 1,000 cows were recovered and three notorious cattle rustlers that specialised in Cattle Rustling, Kidnapping and Armed Robbery were arrested.
He, however, added that all suspects confessed to their crimes and led Puff-Adder Operatives to various locations within the forest where the cows were recovered.”
CP Ilyasu then vowed that efforts were on to track down and arrest all remnants of the syndicate at large and recover any remaining animals or arms and ammunition in their possession, across the difficult terrain along the axis of Falgore Forest.
