The Kano State House of Assembly has cleared Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu as a commissioner nominee and member of the State Executive Council.
The commissioner nominee, who, until his appointment, served as the Managing Director of KNUPDA, expressed his gratitude during the plenary session.
While answering questions from the assembly members, Adamu emphasised the importance of renewed commitment to maintaining the master plan for cities and rural communities.
Adamu, who also expressed his deep joy at the Assembly’s vote of confidence in him, promised to give his very best in discharging any responsibilities assigned to him by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The Speaker of the House, Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, urged the nominee to build upon his track record, having served diligently with KNUPDA.
He then stated that “On behalf of the entire members of the Kano State House of Assembly, he also wished him well in his new role.”
