Filmmaker, Kamaldeen Pedro has announced his collaboration with Eko Akete Filmworks to produce exclusive content for YouTube, marking a significant leap in his illustrious career. The partnership aims to deliver compelling and high-quality entertainment to a global audience.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Pedro shared, “I felt so happy because it comes with a lot of benefits,” upon receiving news of the collaboration.
Pedro unveiled his ambitious plans for the platform saying, “We are launching a YouTube series titled ‘Diary of a Lagos Cabbie.’ Currently in pre-production, the series will feature 26 episodes running over six months on the platform. Additionally, we’re commencing filming for a feature movie starting July 28, 2024, to be streamed consecutively on YouTube. This initiative aims to bring premium content directly to our audience.”
Acknowledging potential challenges, Pedro asserted, “I am prepared for any hurdles. With six years of production experience, our main challenge remains capital funding. However, I have full confidence in my exceptional crew and talented actors, ensuring smooth operations.”
Emphasizing his commitment to captivating storytelling, Pedro stated, “Understanding audience preferences drives our creative process. We engage top writers to craft relatable narratives, evolving our techniques annually based on industry trends and viewer feedback.
