Kalu mourns death of former Speaker, Ghali Na’abba

Former Governor of Abia State and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatization, Dr Orji Kalu, has expressed deep sorrow at the passing of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Ghali Na’Abba.

Kalu, while acknowledging the late politician’s significant contributions to nation-building in various capacities, emphasized that Na’Abba was a consummate politician with a passion for serving humanity. He urged the Na’Abba family to find solace in the knowledge that the deceased led a purposeful life.

In his condolence message, Kalu extended his sympathies to the government and people of Kano State for the painful loss, declaring, “I received the news of the passing of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Ghali Na’Abba, with shock. He was an accomplished politician committed to the growth and progress of Kano and Nigeria at large.”

“As a prominent figure in national politics, the late politician played invaluable roles in nation-building in various positions,” Kalu added.

Kalu concluded his message by praying to Allah to grant the late politician al-Jannah Firdaus.
