Kalu hosts ex-political appointees today

Former Abia State governor, Dr Orji Kalu, will today,  hold a meeting with former federal and state political appointees and government functionaries in his tenure as governor, at his Igbere country home.

According to Kalu, the meeting will deliberate on critical issues regarding the development of the state, even as he added that it was time to come together for the progress of Nigeria and Abia State in particular.

In a statement signed by Kalu’s aide, Kunle Oyewumi, Kalu said, “We have decided to sit under one roof to evaluate the state of development in Abia State.

“We are all stakeholders in the state, and as such it is not out of place to exchange ideas on how to take the state to enviable heights.

“At the end of the meeting, a communique will be issued for update of the people at the helm and other leaders”.
