Kaduna intending pilgrims to pay N2.5m deposit for 2024 Hajj

Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Agency has advised intending pilgrims for the 2024 Hajj to make an initial deposit of N2.5 million.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO), of the agency, Yunusa Abdullahi and made available to the Nigerian Tribune on Thursday.

The statement quoted the Executive Secretary of the agency, Yusuf Yakubu Arrigassiyu advising intending pilgrims to deposit N2.5m initial deposit.

He said after which pilgrims should make installment payments before final announcement by the National Hajj Commission.

The statement counseled intending pilgrims to present themselves physically at the various registration centres across the state because registration by proxy will not be allowed.

Arrigassiyu also called on the registration officers to give priority to first-time intending pilgrims during the exercise.
