Kaduna/Abuja highway: People now sleep with eyes closed — Police Commissioner

Published by

Kaduna State Police Commissioner Musa Yusuf Garba has maintained that people living along Kaduna/Abuja and its environs now sleep with their eyes closed.

He made this known during the commissioning of a state-of-the-art police station at Kakau village, donated by Greenville LNG Company, on Tuesday.

CP Garba maintained that “when I assumed office, my priority was to ensure that Kaduna communities, including those along Kaduna/Abuja, slept with their two eyes closed, unlike what I met them doing.

“You can see that we have made a lot of progress in these communities, and we have achieved so much that people can now move freely without any fear or intimidation, as well as sleep with their eyes closed.

“In the course of that, we have arrested many hoodlums and charged them to court, and they are now fully in the prisons, and that is what we will continue to do until we finish all of them.

Garba further said, “That is why anytime I have the opportunity to talk, I always advise parents to talk to their wards so that we don’t have issues with them because it is only when we arrest criminals that the parents will appear to take them on bail.”

CP Garba warned that parents are supposed to guide their children.

“If you don’t do that, it is only when he has been arrested that you come for his release; we will not take it from any parent,” he said.
