Kaduna Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan has said the 24-hour curfew imposed in the state is still in place.
This was contained in a statement issued by the commissioner and made available to newsmen on Wednesday.
The statement declared that the Kaduna State Security Council has not reviewed the 24-hour curfew imposed on Kaduna and Zaria towns and their environs.
It said the 24-hour curfew remains in place and is being actively enforced by security agencies, contrary to insinuations that it has been reviewed.
“Citizens are enjoined to observe the curfew strictly and to shun rumours or unverified reports.
“Reliable and accurate updates will be duly communicated to the public through official channels,” it declared.
