President Bola Tinubu has sworn in Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
The brief ceremony took place at the Council Chambers of the State House just before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

Mrs. Walson-Jack’s appointment follows President Tinubu’s approval last month, in anticipation of the retirement of the current Head of the Civil Service, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is set to retire on August 13, 2024.
Mrs. Walson-Jack, who was appointed Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017, has served in various ministries.
