President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday night following a nearly 20-day trip to Europe.
His aircraft touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9:50 p.m., where he was received by top government officials.
The president had departed Nigeria on Wednesday, April 2, and spent part of his stay in Paris, France, before reportedly moving to London during the second weekend of his trip.
Welcoming him back to the country were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, among other senior officials.
