President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to participate in the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government.
The President was received at the airport by Ethiopian Deputy Chief of Protocol Eshetu Legesse, Minister of Foreign Affairs Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, and Amb. Nasir Aminu, the charge d’affaires of the Nigerian embassy in Ethiopia.
During a briefing, Tuggar informed President Tinubu about the summit and some diplomatic wins for Nigeria.
The President will deliver a speech at the Summit-level meeting of the African Union Peace and Security Council, addressing current security challenges on the continent.
President Tinubu will also participate in meetings on health financing, establishing an Africa Credit Rating Agency, and climate change.
The President is expected to return to Abuja on Monday.
