JUST IN: One killed, NEMA station burnt as Shiites, Police clash again in Abuja

It was a terrible sight to behold as police and the members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) otherwise called Shiites clashed in Abuja.

This clash led to the death of one Shiites member and the destruction of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) station at the Federal Secretariat in Abuja.

Recall that the members of the IMN have been engaging in violent protests of late, demanding for the release of their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El Zakzaky.

As at the time this report is filed, Nigerian Police have taken control of the situation.
