JUST IN: Kafaya, alleged kidnapper, rescued from angry mob in Lagos

A woman identified as Kafaya has been rescued from an angry mob after she was allegedly caught escaping from with a young girl said to  have been stollen from the neighborhood.
An eye witness account said the woman confessed that  this was not the first time, but a man who drove to the scene parked and called the police.
Within 20 minutes, a police vehicle occupied by three policemen from Ejigbo police station arrived the scene and took Kafaya away.
When Tribune Online called the number Kafaya gave, a woman answered and claimed that Kafaya is mentally deranged and that we should help appeal to the mob to stop beating her.
However, True caller, identified the SIM name of the given number as Komolafe Olatanwa
Residents at Adebayo Oyelana Street, Iyana Ejigbo, where Kafaya allegedly stole the little girl said the man who invited the police drove after them to  Ejigbo police station at about 12:05 pm.
