JUST IN: Ibrahim Jubril, new Emir of Nasarawa, resigns as environment minister

The Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Jubril, has just resigned his appointment from the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC), presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, held a valedictory session in his honour.

Jubril was recently selected by the Nasarawa Emirate Council to become new Emir of Nasarawa.

His selection has also been approved by Governor Tanko Almakura of Nassarawa State.
