Junior Pope stabbed me in the back repeatedly — Yul Edochie

Following the death and burial of popular Nollywood actor Junior Pope, his colleague Yul Edochie took to social media to explain his absence from the burial ceremony while calling the deceased a backstabber.

In his post, Yul acknowledged that many people were curious about his reasons for not attending or commenting on Junior Pope’s death.

Yul explained that he considered Junior Pope to be like a brother to him and had supported him during difficult times.

However, he revealed that Junior Pope had repeatedly betrayed him, which led to a significant rift in their relationship.

While Yul did not provide specific details about the nature of the betrayals, he indicated that the pain and disappointment were profound enough to affect his involvement in the burial proceedings.

In his message, Yul stated, “I didn’t want to say anything till after his burial. I know many asked why I wasn’t there and why I haven’t said anything about it since.

“I took him like a brother and good friend. I was there for him when he needed me. But he stabbed me in the back, repeatedly.

“That’s LIFE! I’ll drop the full details soon so others can learn from it. Be careful what you wish people, it could come to you.”
