Jigawa ready to effects Minimum Wage ― Acting Gov

THE Jigawa state government said is ready to pay the N30,000 minimum wage to its workers in accordance to the national minimum wage law signed by president Muhammadu Buhari.

This was disclosed by the state’s acting governor who is the deputy governor of the state, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia while speaking to newsmen in his office, said, “the state government has already captured the increment in its 2019 budget and the implementation of the new wage will commence soon”.

Barrister Hadejia, however, berated the member representing Gagaraw, Gumel, Maigatari and Sule Tankarkar federal constituency in the state Hon Sani Zoro on alleged praying for insecurity and other disasters to fall on the state.

He described Hon Zoro as a prostrated person who lost relevance in his constituency and state politics, now resolved goes wild in smearing campaign against the state government, citizens and any persons who indicate interest to partner in developing the state.

The recent utterances credited to the member in which he condemned the $32 million Gagarawa sugar project is unfortunate and a sign of unpatriotic, lack of compassion to anything that would change the life of common man in the state.

The deputy governor also accused Zoro of attacking the laudable project that would provide over 20,000 jobs opportunities simply because his selfish request was turned down as it goes against the collective interest of the state.

Barrister Hadejia then assured the people of the constituency who voted out Zoro in the last general election due to his antics against them that, the state government will continue to protect their lives, interest and sustainable livelihood in the cause of establishing a company or any form of investment by a national or international investor.
